Post-Treatment Care

Pixel Laser Resurfacing

Thank you for choosing ROXSpa for your Pixel Laser Resurfacing treatment! To ensure a smooth recovery and optimal results, please follow these aftercare guidelines carefully.

Immediately After Treatment

  • Expect redness, warmth, and mild swelling — This is normal and will subside within a few days.
  • Skin may feel tight and dry — Keep it hydrated with a gentle, fragrance-free moisturizer.
  • Use cold compresses if needed — Apply for 10-minute intervals to reduce discomfort and swelling.
  • Avoid touching your face — Keep your hands clean and avoid picking or scratching.

First 24-72 Hours

  • Do not wash your face for at least 12 hours — Use only lukewarm water and a gentle cleanser afterward.
  • No makeup or heavy skincare products — Let your skin breathe and heal naturally.
  • Avoid direct sun exposure — Use SPF 30+ daily and wear a wide-brimmed hat if outdoors.
  • Use post-procedure skincare — Your esthetician will recommend appropriate soothing and healing products (e.g., a hydrating serum or post-laser balm).

Days 3-7 Post-Treatment

  • Skin may begin to flake and peel — This is a normal part of the healing process.
  • Keep moisturizing — Use a non-comedogenic, fragrance-free moisturizer to aid recovery.
  • Do not pick, scrub, or exfoliate — Let the skin shed naturally to avoid scarring or hyperpigmentation.
  • Stay hydrated — Drink plenty of water to support skin regeneration.

After One Week & Beyond

  • Gradually reintroduce your skincare routine — Wait at least 7-10 days before using active ingredients like retinoids, AHAs, and BHAs.
  • Continue wearing sunscreen daily — Your skin will remain sensitive to UV rays for several weeks.
  • Follow your treatment plan — A series of sessions may be recommended for optimal skin resurfacing results.
